Wow! I finally got this blog up and running. What a journey! It started out with just wanting a place on my portfolio site, where I could offer suggestions and give ideas for the “DIY” crowd. Maybe I could at least make the site self sufficient….with all the news talk about the tough times ahead with the recession looming I thought it might be a good idea to get some back up. Not just for me, but for others that share my passion for creative inspiration and the need to keep our home and our mind on solutions, not complaints. Now speaking of the DIY crowd, I’m a charter member, and way too much of a control freak to just hire someone to set all this up, and besides, it’s proving to be a whole lot fun! Come along for the ride, there’s a lot to learn out there…..

The first thing I discovered when I started my research was that the basic structure of my existing site was a mess! So I began the process of getting that in order(that’s quite a story in itself, I’ll save it for another day….lets just say, thank god, there are reputable people out there willing to offer help). Everything had its own learning curve, and each piece of the puzzle shot you off into another direction, and another, and…next thing you know…the dreaded…Information Overload!!!! Mama help me!

I’m still in recovery, but decided to go ahead and publish; maybe you the reader can help me stay on task and make this site a comfortable, safe, and inspiring place to be. Hope you enjoy the process of watching it grow, I’m open to suggestions and would love to associate with like minded individuals and groups.
